i remember when rain was a breath of fresh air

and it was beautiful

when it rains

i think about laying down on the highhway and waiting for cars to run me over while the cold water slaps down on my face and i hurt and i shiver

but the water is fresh and the pain was earned but it will end

and at night

i dream about running my sword

through as much of my body as i can

before i bleed out

and i don’t care if it hurts while cars

rip me to pieces

while i rip myself to shreds.

sometimes i just want to go.

and sometimes i just want to go to sleep.

sometimes i get so cold and so afraid i can’t sleep and shadows pile on top of one another and the way the air conditioner vibrates in my brain i feel like i’m going to scream or run but i become paralyzed by fear and someone has set my skin on fire so i couldn’t run even if i wanted to.
